Instead of buy another USB adapter, Buy PCI wireless card adapter from other brand.not TP LInk. I cant recommend the best cheap brand because I dont know which the best for amd mobo. wireless PCI card which need to be inserted into mobo, So, you dont need to use USB slot.USB slot is not stable, esp for AMD mobo. If you want to buy another adapter - i recomm.

I did what you said and unchecked the save power on the adapter but couldnt find "Universal Composite Dev" but I went into "Universal Serial Bus controllers" and found five not two "USB Root Hub" and unchecked the save power on those.
